HISTORY

Serving the Transportation Industry since 2006, MRS was formed by Owner and President Michele Schindewolf. Since their inception, MRS has been supporting the Transportation Infrastructure with materials for maintenance and repair to major new projects.

As a manufacturer's distributor of electrical supplies, MRS specializes in two divisions, Transit and Airfield. This enables us to meet the specific needs of each industry while maintaining the ability to handle any size project. We are able to quickly respond to the ever changing construction climate and the associated needs of the customer.

MRS is certified Small Business Enterprises (SBE), Woman Business Enterprise (WBE) and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE). MRS offers 50+ product line categories consisting of approximately 1000+ various products. This easily allows MRS to meet the many requirements of today's Transportation Infrastructure. This product breadth and multiple certifications coupled with the organizations experience in account management significantly reduces the need for multiple suppliers.

OWNER & PRESIDENT

Michele Schindewolf is a hands-on leader with irreproachable professional ethics, integrity and honesty, who offers over 20 years of progressive responsible work experience in the Electrical Supply and Transportation Infrastructure Industry. This experience includes supply chain management; ascertaining inventory levels for large projects and compliance management for those projects. She has worked in the field on construction projects and applies this knowledge to her daily business activities.

As a member of Women in Transportation; American Public Transportation Association and NAPWO, she was selected to the National Association of Professional Women for the 2012/2013 year as a VIP Professional Women of the Year.

Michele has received numerous professional certifications such as MTA NYC Transit Track Safety Certification, along with her Fork Lift Operators Certification, SIDA Certification, Transportation Systems Certificate of Training, and Certificate of Merit from ADB Airfield Solutions to name a few.

EXECUTIVE ADMIN & SALES SUPPORT

Debbie Floystad joined MRS in 2013 with over 20 years of Customer Service experience. She maintains Customer satisfaction by providing problem-solving resources that meet the individual needs of our customers. She has a "Customer first" attitude and effectively communicates with and supports sales, marketing and administrative teams on a daily basis. She composes outgoing correspondence and reports for managers. Debbie prepares meeting minutes and edits proposals, transmittals and memorandums for organizational support. She also supports the Owner and President through personal document management, calendar organization and collateral preparation for meetings.
